<montgoej> hey, what's going on everyone?
<jkeyes0> deal or no deal is such a stupid show. :P
<montgoej> lol
<montgoej> it's ok when there's nothing else to watch
<jkeyes0> good point. apparently they aren't rerunning heroes or anything. :(
<jkeyes0> ever used pclinuxos or arch linux?
<montgoej> nope
<jkeyes0> I downloaded them both. figured I should try out alternatives on my other workstations (for comparison's sake)
<montgoej> I'll probably end up trying one or both out at one time or the other
<montgoej> I've tried a lot of the major ones
<montgoej> the ones I've tried so far: Ubuntu(duh), openSUSE, Fedora, Sabayon, DSL, FreeBSD(not linux but oh well), PC-BSD(still not linux), Debian NetInstall(VM image) and Freespire
<montgoej> the ones I have installed right now are Ubuntu and Sabayon on my main computer and FreeBSD and Xubuntu on an older computer of mine
<montgoej> I like Ubuntu and Xubuntu the best...although xubuntu doesn't have the flare of Ubuntu, Sabayon on the other hand takes forever when you need a piece of software and FreeBSD takes a long time to get anything graphical
<bonbonthejon> Kubuntu all the way
<montgoej> I like KDE okay, i just started on Gnome and I can't quit using it...although I do have times when I use KDE for a week or two, then go back to Gnome
<jkeyes0> I'm installing arch on my 3rd workstation right now. not liking the installer...
<jkeyes0> yeah, lots of errors on the arch linux install. moving on to pclinuxos
<montgoej> when I installed FreeBSD it gave me tons of "unable to install package" errors
<jkeyes0> could not install grub on arch. pretty much ended that right there.
<montgoej> and it's 2 discs, but it makes you switch out the disc every 2 seconds it seems like
<bonbonthejon> montgoej: is sabayon like gentoo, compiles everything, is that why it takes a long time to install software?
<montgoej> yeah, Sabayon is gentoo based, but it's got certain stuff like Gnome and KDE already compiled on the DVD
<montgoej> but everytime you wanna install something, it's gotta compile it
<etank> the guys at the UKLUG are big on arch linux
<jkeyes0> at some point I should give it more of a chance (perhaps on an IDE drive). but when I try to install out of the box on fairly standard hardware, and it fails, meh.
<montgoej> I'll probably try PCLinuxOS as my next distro
<montgoej> once I get tired of Sabayon
<montgoej> Ubuntu just seems to be the one that works and I can't shake it as my main distro, I learned Linux on Ubuntu and it's what I know best
<jkeyes0> I'm thinking of trying sabayon on that machine. any hiccups to it?
<montgoej> don't try to turn on the accelerated graphics if you're unsure at all of whether your card can take it, I did and I just end up re-installing it cause it kept freezing up when it booted
<montgoej> *after it booted, once it got graphical
<jkeyes0> all my machines have decent graphics cards.
<montgoej> the installer is pretty good though, it lets you use either command line to install or do it in Fluxbox
<montgoej> it seems like it runs a bit slower than Ubuntu sometimes though and don't know why, even when I've compiled software
<montgoej> but it's got XGL/Beryl enabled by default which makes it REALLY cool
<jkeyes0> it comes with proprietary drivers by default, doesn't it?
<montgoej> yeah'
<montgoej> Sabayon has 2 versions too, DVD and CD
<montgoej> the DVD has Gnome, KDE, etc. on it while the CD only has KDE and Fluxbox
<etank> !hi | X626
<ubotwo> X626: Hi! Welcome to #ubuntu-kentucky!
<X626> Hi
<X626> I see you still like to use the bot.
<etank> heck yeah
<X626> !hi | etank
<ubotwo> etank: Hi! Welcome to #ubuntu-kentucky!
<X626> I hate having dial-up. I want to upgrade to Edgy (not sure why, either...just want to, I guess), but I wouldn't be able to...and I have so many extra stuff installed, that I don't think getting the Alternate Install CD would help me much...
<montgoej> believe me...you don't want to upgrade from the alternate CD...so slow after the upgrade
<montgoej> I did it...I hated it
<X626> It wouldn't help me much, anyway.
<X626> I'd still probably have > 100 MB of stuff to download even if it DID work right. (That would take FOREVER for me to download)
<montgoej> well...the upgrade(as of today) from stock edgy to fully updated Edgy is 199 megs
<montgoej> as of 12:45 today, that is
<X626> I've downloaded about 150 from a clean install of Dapper, but that took me about a week to do (I'm normally very patient with downloading).
<montgoej> I just today updated everything on our Edgy computer at school
<etank> if you want one of us could send you an Edgy or even a Feisty CD
<X626> Nah, but thanks anyway. It would probably take a Kubuntu, Ubuntu, and Xubuntu CD for me to get the biggest updates (I have GNOME, KDE, and XFCE installed).
<montgoej> i could probably get you an aptoncd disc
<montgoej> I've been looking for an excuse to play around with that anyways
<X626> !aptoncd
<ubotwo> Sorry, I know nothing about that - try http://help.ubuntu.com/community/
<X626> Just curious as to what the bot would say (I know what it is).
<montgoej> I saw it in someone's sig
<montgoej> ok
<etank> or the ningi DVD
<etank> http://www.ubuntu-hr.org/ningi/
<montgoej> @etank: did you upgrade to edgy by a fresh install or from CD/internet?
<montgoej> I upgraded via the CD, then update via the net...the repos were ungodly slow that day
<etank> i did a fresh install
<etank> i will probably do a fresh install of feisty too
<X626> I have too much on here to do a fresh install...
<montgoej> I'm definately doing a fresh install of feisty now that my home is on a seperate partition
<etank> X626: do you have a seperate home partition
<montgoej> my download speed from the repos was about 4k-5k/sec. it sucked...more than 24 hours for the update
<X626> No, but that's not why. I have too many other things to reinstall if I did that.
<X626> Actually, this HD isn't really big enough for a separate HD. It's almost full as it is (I used the Windblows partition to store anything I download).
<X626> *second HD should be home directory....weird, I never noticed they had the same two letters.
<montgoej> I just have a seperate partition on my main 80 gig drive
<montgoej> the other 80 gig is where I have a few gigs for LFS and Sabayon installed
<etank> my hdd is only 60 gig total
<montgoej> but I never let other distros touch my Ubuntu home dir cause I don't want something to bork ubuntu
<X626> I WOULD resize my Windows partition, but I'd be afraid that I'd screw up Windows (as much as I'd love too, my parents may get ticked off, even though they don't notice a missing NTLDR).
<montgoej> I re-sized it at first, gave winblows 30 gigs, ubuntu the rest
<etank> have either of you played with feisty yet
<X626> No, but I want to.
<etank> i am looking forward to the final release
<etank> i have two boxes at the office running it
<montgoej> nope..I downloaded herd 1 but ended up deleting it
<etank> feels very stable so far
<X626> I want to mess with Edgy, too....
<montgoej> I plan to update very soon
<etank> herd 1 was too early for me
<etank> i waited to herd 3
<montgoej> the thing about updating to feisty is that it'll be an all-day thing for me
<X626> If only I get download ALL the packages I need to update to Edgy. on a high-speed connection..but that would be hard for me to do...
<etank> im waiting until the final release is out before i put it on my laptop
<montgoej> install, install software, compile kernel, install KDE, XFCE, etc.
<montgoej> I install too much extra stuff
<X626> Me too.
<X626> That's why upgrading is such a problem (though I use the stuff I install).
<montgoej> I've got Gnome, KDE, XFCE, I think Fluxbox, Enlightenment and about 1000000 widget programs
<X626> I have Gnome, KDE, and XFCE, but that's all (for now).
<montgoej> I have all the different widget programs I can find basically
<etank> i am gnome only with few kde libs user
<montgoej> Superkaramba, Conky, Adesklets, Gdesklets, etc.
<X626> I like messing with different environments...It makes me like Linux even more.
<etank> i am hoping that compriz will work well on my laptop once feisty is on it
<X626> I wish I could use Compiz/Beryl, but I can't.
<montgoej> I'm considering getting a new graphics card for it
<X626> If I had the money, I certainly would.
<etank> i used to try all the different desktops but now i just stick with the one
<montgoej> my STLP teacher said he'd sell me an Nvidia card for like 10-15 bucks
<X626> Wow...that's cool.
<etank> too hard to do in a laptop
<montgoej> I've already ran AIGLX/Beryl on it using the Sabayon live cd
<etank> or i would too
<X626> When I can get me another job, I'm definitely buying a new graphics card for this piece-of-junk computer.
<montgoej> I have an Nvidia card setting at the house, but for some reason, it doesn't wanna work
<X626> I hate having no accelerated graphics.
<montgoej> it's from an older dell...that may be why for me
<X626> I know I complain a lot about accelerated graphics....I just can't help it.
<montgoej> have you played with it at all?
<X626> My card isn't supported, actually.
<montgoej> I've been wanting to get it since the first time I played with Beryl...
<X626> SiS 740 is one of those that they list SPECIFICALLY as not having support.
<montgoej> I don't think mines on the list, I just know that I've tried everything under the sun to get it to work, without success
<X626> It's annoying, because I sometimes play some games when I'm bored, and there are some I'm wanting, but they use OpenGL....so I'm outta luck there.
<montgoej> same here
<montgoej> I can play stuff like Tuxkart and Planet Penguin Racer(or whatever it is) but there are some hiccups
<X626> I pretty much can't even play those....WAAAAAAAAAY too slow.
<X626> It acts like it's going at 3 fps, but it seems to register a decent frame rate.
<X626> At least it does when I view the FPS in games.
<montgoej> have you guys heard about "Free Me"
<montgoej> http://www.freesoftwaremagazine.com/node/2127
<montgoej> I think it looks pretty cool
<X626> AH! The link opened in Konqueror....Grrr....I wish it wouldn't! (I even had XChat set to use Firefox, but they still opened in Konqueror).
<montgoej> lol, mine always open in Opera...go figure
<X626> Anyway, that link looks interesting.
<X626> I don't have Opera installed (nor have I used it before)
<montgoej> I have opera for testing web pages
<montgoej> same as I have internet exploder 5, 5.5 and 6 installed
<X626> I'm not EVER doing that....I don't care how terrible my pages look in IE (although, I don't actually design the pages, as I am terrible at the DESIGN part of a Web site. I can code it well, though).
<montgoej> I do web design and people get mad when stuff doesn't load in explorer right, but they won't even try Firefox
<montgoej> Free Culture looks interesting too http://freeculture.org/manifesto.php
<montgoej> it's an international student movement
<X626> Considering how last night was, I'm actually shocked that etank isn't messing with the bot anymore...
<X626> And you're right, that also looks interesting.
<montgoej> I'm not exactly a college student, but it's still cool...although my parents don't like my whole "No DRM" philosophy and any kind of activism
<etank> nah
<montgoej> I put up a big full page "Defective By Design" sticker on a power box...that got me grounded
<etank> its only fun for a while
<etank> it is useful though
<montgoej> it has graffiti and everything else on it, but they get mad about my sticker...
<X626> Yeah, it is useful. (That got you GROUNDED?! Now that's strict!)
<montgoej> grounded from the computer for 3 days...
<montgoej> at least the winblows computer at my moms...my dad just said don't do it again
<X626> Wow....my parents let me do ALMOST what I want with our computer (*cough*Uninstall Windows*cough*)
<etank> dads are like that sometimes
<montgoej> I put a sticker on the phone book of a pay phone that said "this phone is tapped patriot act, blah blah" and they both got mad...but nothing came out of it
<montgoej> the phone book had half the pages torn out...it was barely even useable...
<X626> Yeah, that is weird....
<X626> People are just weird sometimes.
<montgoej> they don't like it that I don't like the patriot act...they haven't even read it though
<X626> People seem to find it weird that I like Linux so much. I've never heard of that act....
<montgoej> it was passed after 9/11
<X626> Wait...I may have heard of it....Not sure though.
<montgoej> basically, in the name of anti-terrorism, the government can tap phones, etc. without a warrant
<X626> Ah....I HAVE heard of that. I don't like it, either.
<montgoej> now the FBI is taking a lot of heat over it cause they used it illegally
<X626> Though if they ever tap my phone, mostly all they will hear is a modem, as I'm ALWAYS online.
<montgoej> one of my teachers put it on his phone at school and the principal went off...
<X626> Awww...darn it! 11:00 already! I gotta go. Good night.
<montgoej> keep in mind, the teacher put it there and was fine with it
<montgoej> I'll probably stay til 11:15 or 11:30, that's when Jay Leno comes on :)
<X626> Bye. I have to go to bed at 11:00.
<montgoej> @etank: did you ever figure out how to make ubotwo say bye?

<Zuph> no internet at apartment :(
<Zuph> Only internet at work
<Zuph> For the love of god, is there any guide for a simple, insecure, spam prone email server out there?
<Zuph> slow day.
*** TheLighty[BNC] is now known as TheLighty
<Zuph> this is giving me fits
<etank> hey. where did the bot go :(
<etank> that sucks
<Zuph> WHY EMAIL SERVER NO WORKY?
<etank> have you tried a different mta?
<Zuph> I've tried everything
<Zuph> I just want a simple email server that will work for an internal network
<Zuph> It needs to be accesable from outlook and from webmail
<Zuph> it doesn't have to be secure, scan for viruses, fast, extensible or anything
<Zuph> It just has to send mail
<Zuph> and I can't find anything that will do it without being a headache
<|{evin> www.howtoforge.com
<|{evin> postfix/courier
<etank> |{evin: man of small, but important words.
* etank is still wondering where that darn bot went.
<|{evin> * ubotwo has quit (Read error: 104 (Connection reset by peer))
<etank> that just sucks.
<Zuph> |{evin: I have tried every debian or ubuntu guide on that site to no avail
<Zuph> SOMETHING goes wrong somewhere.
<Zuph> I've tried the common guides on the forums.
<Zuph> I've tried asking about my problems in #postfix
<Zuph> and I never get a response.
<bkingx> ANyone know of a decent port scanner for scanning remote routers?
<TheLighty> dfind
<TheLighty> what ya going to do
<bkingx> I was trying to see which ports wereopen on my router at home.
<TheLighty> which router you have
<etank> nmap
<bkingx> wrt54g with dd-wrt v23 sp2
<etank> nmapfe for the ones that need a gui <cough>bking
<bkingx> SHUTTTIE!!!!
<bkingx> !smack | etank
<TheLighty> lol
<TheLighty> I doubt you have any open ports
<TheLighty> but use this
<TheLighty> http://www.grc.com/intro.htm
<bkingx> there's some command line for you, punk!!!
<bkingx> I doubt it too...just want to double check that what I do have open, is really open, and that anything else is closed.
<bkingx> And, <cough> I need it for winblows.
<bkingx> Sorry...don't have my Ubuntu machine with me today.
<TheLighty> hehe
<TheLighty> that will scan all ports at you ip
<TheLighty> don't matter what you are usin
<bonbonthejon> bkingx: yay, dd-wrt
<bkingx> ;)
<bkingx> I tell you what would be nice...if dd-wrt had a reverse-proxy built in.
<bkingx> Seems like that would be a pretty common thing...multiple web servers behind the firewall.
<bonbonthejon> bkingx: you can forward them to different ports, is that what you mean
<TheLighty> you can do that
<bkingx> No...I have multiple sites running www from 1 static IP.
<bkingx> IE...multiple domain names and 1 static ip.
<etank> he is using mod_proxy and the logs on the other servers are showing only the proxy IP
<etank> not the original IP
<bkingx> That is one problem
<bonbonthejon> bkingx: apache can have domains that go to different hosts
<bkingx> The other is the apache server has to be up
<bkingx> Right, bonbonthejon, so can IIS.
<bonbonthejon> bkingx: ewww IIS
<bkingx> I was wanting something independent of the servers.
<bkingx> LOL
<bkingx> So I figured something insode dd-wrt could do it.
<bkingx> It does so much other stuff, I don't see why this wouldn't be there either.
<bonbonthejon> bkingx: are there multiple machines or multiple virtual hosts
<bkingx> And a nice interface for the webGUI... <points to etank> would be nice.
<bkingx> bonbonthejon: Yes
<bonbonthejon> bkingx: it was an either-or question
<bkingx> Multiple Machine, Multiple VM's, Multiple Domain Names, single IP
<etank> there are virtual hosts defined that point to different physical machines
<bonbonthejon> you could do a web server and then a separate database server, that way you keep the hosts on the same server
<bkingx> etank has it working well
<bonbonthejon> alright
<bkingx> It is just dependant on the apache server to be up.
<bkingx> Just seems like that same system would be available in dd-wrt
<TheLighty> I have to go pick up more pc's on friday
<TheLighty> is there a place yet for us to store them
<etank> i don't think we have a location yet
<etank> i am basing that on the post Zuph made on the forums
<TheLighty> k
<TheLighty> I will just put in my basement
<etank> install fest idea: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SugarCookies
<etank> or release party
<etank> or both
<bonbonthejon> where are you guys having a release party
<etank> undecided at this moment
<etank> we need to come up with a good place though
<etank> if you have any ideas post them on the forum at http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=380165
<etank> or start a thread on the mailing list
<bonbonthejon> i know ohio loco was planning on having local parties
<bonbonthejon> didn't know if south-west ohio and northern kentucky might have a combined party
<etank> that is a good thought
<etank> we could talk to Vorian about that
<Zuph> I hate everything and everyone that has ever used an email server ever.
<etank> Zuph: you like broad statements don't you
<Zuph> Especially when I'm angry.
<etank> breathe in through the nose, out through the mouth
<Zuph> If I ever get the server working, I'm going to sent the author of postfix a nasty email.
<|{evin> ...
<Zuph> I'm going to try this guide one more time http://www.howtoforge.com/ubuntu6.06_firewall_gateway_p3 and then commit seppuku.

<Zuph> I suppose if I'm to do it the traditional way, I'll need an assistant.

<bkingx> BTW...I got the other damn VM's to start usign the console.
<bkingx> Woohoo!
<etank> you used the cli
* etank is in shock
<etank> ;)
<etank> what was the command that you used?
<bkingx> vmware-cmd <path to vmx> start
<etank> thats what i though
<etank> s/though/thought/
<bkingx> Worked like a charm!
<etank> you can do a stop and a suspend too if i remember right
<bkingx> I have to figure out why those won't auto-start.
<bkingx> Like on a power failure.
<etank> there is a setting that you can make that will tell it to start when the ESX host starts
<bkingx> One of them does, but the other two don;t
<etank> you can even space them out.
<bkingx> I have those set, but it is not working right.
<etank> anyone have a copy of the "Official Ubuntu Book"?
<bkingx> etank: we need to open back up the web site and have a file repository for stuff just like this.
<bkingx> PDF's, forms, etc.
<|{evin> "owl" is handy for that.
<etank> whoo, whoo
<etank> |{evin: what is owl?????
<Koji-Murasame> Good afternoon.
<|{evin> owl-dms - intranet Knowledgebase or DMS
<bkingx> Hi Koji-Murasame
<|{evin> (document management system)
<bkingx> Nice Suggestion |{evin
<bkingx> will that interface with Drupal?
<|{evin> umm
<|{evin> I don't know?
<|{evin> it's just php
<bkingx> I wonder if Drupal has a module for something like that.
<bkingx> That way we can use user permissions.
<|{evin> it has it's own permission system
<|{evin> visibility, read/write, create subdirectories, etc
<bkingx> Nice
<bkingx> OK etank, you have a job then!
<etank> screw that
<etank> sounds like a good idea though
<Koji-Murasame> Completely unrelated, but I've started learning C++. . .
<Koji-Murasame> I got a book from the bookstore I work at and I'm up to chapter five.
<bkingx> Hmm...gonna mak eme break out the big guns then, huh etank ?
<etank> if by big guns you mean $$$$ then yeah maybe.
<bkingx> Hmm...fine then!
<bkingx> So how can I put the site online again?
<bkingx> I'll play around with finding a drupal module, for now.
<bkingx> Or see about messing with Owl.
<etank> why do we need a drupal module?
<etank> |{evin: it is like the gotsource docushare stuff at COT isn't it
<etank> we can not put the site back online
<bkingx> Nm...figured it out.
<|{evin> we had documentation?
<etank> well we had an application like this (kind of)
<bkingx> I'll turn it back off when I am done....just messing around.
<|{evin> woulda been nice to know that back then
<bkingx> Actually, it is still offline, but I can get in. So that is good enough
<etank> again. why is there a drupal module needed?
<etank> |{evin: it was crap though
<bkingx> etank: just to make everything nice and bundled.
<Koji-Murasame> Anyone know any good books or sites for learning GTK+? Would that be a good place to start making graphical programs after getting some C++ under my belt?
<bkingx> But if you think having another "whatever", then that is cool too.
<bkingx> I think now is the time to have something like this four team.
<bkingx> s/four/for
<bkingx> f course, we can prob just do it in a wiki, it we want.
<jkeyes0> btw, etank, I've got the Official Ubuntu Book in pdf format.
<Zuph> IT DIDN'T WORK AGAIN YAY TIME TO KILL MYSELF
<bkingx> looks like owl-dms is a package already in the repository.
<bkingx> Think we should give it a wirl?
<Zuph> How is it that there are Hundreds of thousands of linux based webmail providers out there working perfectly, yet I can't get mine to work?
<Zuph> Does anyone know anything about postfix?
<bkingx> Sorry Zuph, I don't
<jkeyes0> hello, bentonnaz1
<bentonnaz1> hello jkeyes
<bentonnaz1> how are you today
<jkeyes0> I'm making it. my coworkers seem to think it's appropriate to yell over the cubicles to each other. ugh.
<bentonnaz1> where is ur work
<bkingx> etank: http://www.apsis.ch/pound/
<bkingx> Are you a good enough Linux guru to install this on a wrt54g?
<jkeyes0> bentonnaz1, I'm a state employee, in Frankfort.
<bentonnaz1> we use ubuntu (linux) in frankfort?
<Zuph> I am going to stab my eyes out with a hot poker
<bkingx> Me too, Zuph
<Zuph> We can start a club.
<bkingx> HTe Hot Poker club?
<bkingx> COOL!!
<etank> jkeyes0: can you email that to me???
<etank> Zuph: what kind of club?
<Zuph> Those who have stabbed their own eyes out with a hot poker.
<etank> jkeyes0: you beat me to it
<etank> thanks
<Zuph> okay
<Zuph> holy god
<etank> later guys
<etank> got to go now
<Zuph> I'm back to the point I was at 24 hours ago
<bkingx> WTF....why did etank head out so quick?
<bkingx> Need to take a sewage sample?
<bkingx> Drop the kids off at the pool?
<bkingx> Take a seat on the throne?
<bkingx> Visit the library?
<bkingx> Drop a cable?

<Zuph> I'm just gonna test this damn email server tomorrow
<Zuph> I've spent way too much time on it today to be disappointed.
<jkeyes0> where's the problem?
<Zuph> If I knew, then I probably wouldn't be having the problem
<jkeyes0> a very good point.
*** jkeyes0 is now known as jkeyes0_afk

<jkeyes0> hey Koji-Murasame
<Koji-Murasame> Hello
<Koji-Murasame> What's up with that Dell survey about linux going down? Technical difficulties or did they just take it down for good?
<jkeyes0> it was on digg. probably a victim of "The Digg Effect"
<Koji-Murasame> A flood of people type thing?
<jkeyes0> exactly. if you haven't been there, http://www.digg.com
<Koji-Murasame> Didn't Kevin Rose found that?
<jkeyes0> yes.
<Koji-Murasame> Ah. Okay. I never actually got around to looking at it, but I'd heard about it before.
<jkeyes0> it's like slashdot, but with a much better chance of stories you post showing up on the front page.
<jkeyes0> I'm going spelunking for ice cream sandwiches. be back shortly.
<Koji-Murasame> lol
<Koji-Murasame> I asked earlier, but my connection gave out on me before I could see if anyone got a reply in. Anyone know any good books or sites for learning GTK+? Would that be a good place to start making graphical programs after getting some C++ under my belt?
<jkeyes0> I think I need a reboot. xorg is acting funny (dvd's not playing right). brb.
<jkeyes0> hooray for tenacious D
<Koji-Murasame> ?
<jkeyes0> I got "Tenacious D and the Pick of Destiny" in the mail today from Blockbuster online
<Koji-Murasame> Ah. I saw that in theaters with my friends. It was alright.
<jkeyes0> tenacious D is awesome. I might just have to buy this DVD.
<jkeyes0> for your gtk+ question, this might be a decent place to start: http://www.linuxheadquarters.com/howto/programming/gtk_examples/index.shtml
<Koji-Murasame> Thanks
<jkeyes0> gtk reference manual: http://www.linuxheadquarters.com/howto/programming/gtk_examples/index.shtml
<Koji-Murasame> ^That's the same link twice.
<jkeyes0> oops.
<jkeyes0> http://developer.gnome.org/doc/API/2.0/gtk/index.html
<Koji-Murasame> Awesome. Thanks
<Koji-Murasame> That second site has a screwy header though. . .
<Koji-Murasame> When I scroll down and scroll back up the header repeats over the page and covers up the content.
<jkeyes0> http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=380796 might also help
<jkeyes0> works fine for me in firefox, what are you viewing with?
<Koji-Murasame> Firefox.
<jkeyes0> in dapper?
<Koji-Murasame> Edgy
<jkeyes0> very strange then.
<Koji-Murasame> It's not NoScript or AdBlock causing it. . .
<jkeyes0> you've got your vid drivers set up appropriately, right?
<Koji-Murasame> Yup
<jkeyes0> hey montgoej
<montgoej> hey
<jkeyes0> http://nostdal.org/~lars/writings/ubuntu-programming1.pdf (change the 1 to 2 or 3 for the other docs, Koji-Murasame)
<Koji-Murasame> Thanks
